Manuel G. Silberger

A commercial lithographer by trade, Manuel G. Silberger was active as a printmaker and portrait painter during the 1930s. Born in Bokovic, Hungary, the son of a merchant, Silberger received his first art training in Miskolz, Hungary before immigrating to America in 1921 to join his family in Cleveland. He attended night classes at the Huntington Polytechnic Institute, studying with Henry Keller and Paul Travis.
